In determining its development strategy, cooperatives engaged in the savings and loan sector and other sectors such as trade must consider several important factors, including the amount of capital owned, cooperative products that have good market opportunities, and competitive product pricing. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through interviews, documentation studies, and observation. Aspects studied in the study include three main components, namely capital, products, and prices. The results showed that KUD Satrimas business capital sourced from member savings, residual income (SHU), and the results of capital investment from the oil palm plantation sector and other businesses. Products marketed include savings and loan services, transportation, and procurement, with marketing of palm oil FFB owned by plasma farmers who follow the market price of the buying company. Based on these findings, this study recommends that KUD Satrimas increase the variety of savings and loan products to provide more choices for members, which can indirectly increase the cooperative's capital. A competent and professional apparatus is needed to support responsive, transparent, and quality services. This research aims to explore strategies to increase the capacity of the apparatus through training approaches, bureaucratic reform, utilisation of information and communication technology, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and observation. The results show that competency-based training programmes, adaptive bureaucratic reforms, digital infrastructure development, and participatory approaches are key factors in improving apparatus capacity. However, challenges such as budget constraints, resistance to change, and competency gaps between agencies are still obstacles that need to be overcome. This study recommends the importance of consistent policy support, strengthening cross-sectoral cooperation, and periodic evaluation to ensure the sustainability of the apparatus capacity building programme. With the right strategy, it is expected that optimal public services and good governance can be achieved.
A.M. The main focus of this research is four public service principles: transparency, conditionality, participation, and equality of rights. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach, involving data collection through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the transparency principle is well implemented through clear communication of procedures and service fees to the public. However, challenges remain in improving service efficiency, particularly regarding service time. The conditional principle is applied through training programs for staff, but public understanding of procedures still needs improvement. The participation principle is reflected in efforts to involve the public in service processes, although their understanding of the procedures is limited. Finally, the equality principle is implemented by providing non-discriminatory services, although further socialization is needed to ensure the public understands their rights and obligations. Overall, while these principles have been well applied, improvements are needed in aspects such as service efficiency and public understanding. This study is expected to contribute to enhancing the quality of public services at the sub-district level.
Iksal Sanaki, Pieter Sammy Soselisa, Humairah Almahdali Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unka.ac.id/index.php/fisip/article/view/1460 Thu, 06 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 COLLABORATIVE GOVERNANCE GUNA EFEKTIVITAS PEMERINTAHAN KELURAHAN SENGKUANG KECAMATAN SINTANG https://jurnal.unka.ac.id/index.php/fisip/article/view/1466
Abstract: his study aims to analyse collaborative governance for government effectiveness in Sengkuang Village, Sintang District. This study aims to analyze waste management issues in Sintang City through structural and cultural approaches and identify potential solutions that can be implemented. Using qualitative methods such as interviews, focus group discussions, and observations, the research finds that from a structural perspective, the main challenges include a lack of waste management infrastructure, suboptimal implementation of policies, and limited tripartite coordination between the government, community, and private sectors. Meanwhile, from a cultural perspective, low public awareness of the importance of waste management, a culture of consuming waste-generating products excessively, and the habit of littering pose significant barriers to creating a clean and healthy environment. Community-based approaches, such as environmental education, waste bank programs, and community group empowerment, can enhance public awareness and participation in waste management. The findings also indicate that the waste problem in Sintang City is not merely a technical issue but a social one that requires a holistic approach. Therefore, collaboration among adaptive policies, adequate infrastructure, and behavioral change within the community is key to establishing a sustainable waste management system.

Markus Markus Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unka.ac.id/index.php/fisip/article/view/1458 Thu, 06 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 PENGARUH MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP LOYALITAS PELANGGAN USAHA MIKRO KECIL DAN MENENGAH (UMKM) DI KOTA SINTANG https://jurnal.unka.ac.id/index.php/fisip/article/view/1464
This study aims to analyze the impact of social media-based marketing strategies on customer loyalty among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sintang City. In 2023, there were 241 recorded agrarian conflicts in Indonesia, involving the seizure of 638,188 hectares of land, which included agricultural areas, customary territories, fishing zones, and community settlements, affecting 135,608 households. Moreover, 110 conflicts resulted in 608 victims among land rights defenders due to repressive actions in agrarian conflict zones. These figures place Indonesia at the top of the list among six other Asian countries, including India, Cambodia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and Nepal. The conflicts are not only caused by overlapping policies and land control by large corporations but also by maladministration practices and resource exploitation that neglect local community rights. The impacts of agrarian conflicts are extensive, encompassing social, economic, and cultural losses, as well as human rights violations. Furthermore, repressive actions by authorities and policy imbalances often exacerbate the situation. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with literature review methods to analyze the causes and impacts of agrarian conflicts. The findings highlight the need for a fair, inclusive, and sustainable approach through agrarian reform to address these issues and promote equitable economic distribution.
Petrus Atong Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unka.ac.id/index.php/fisip/article/view/1446 Thu, 06 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 UPAYA PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM BAGI ANAK PADA SATUAN RESERSE KRIMINAL KEPOLISIAN RESORT SINTANG https://jurnal.unka.ac.id/index.php/fisip/article/view/1456
As a state apparatus that plays a role in maintaining public security and order, enforcing the law, and providing protection, shelter, and services to the community in order to maintain security in the jurisdiction of the Sintang Police Resort (Polres), the Sintang Police through the Women and Children Protection Unit of the Sintang Police Criminal Investigation Unit is obliged to provide legal protection for children. Efforts to protect children legally at the Sintang Police Criminal Investigation Unit are carried out through socialization and coordination with related agencies. Success in raising legal awareness of legal protection for children to the community requires an effective socialization strategy. As an agent that actively promotes legal protection for children, the PPA Unit of the Sintang Police Criminal Investigation Unit must have important resources in order to carry out its functions properly. These resources include: human resources, facilities and infrastructure along with budget. The conclusion of this study is that efforts to raise legal awareness of child protection for the community in the jurisdiction of the Sintang Police are still not optimal. Therefore, it is recommended that the quality and quantity of socialization be improved, both in terms of frequency and target coverage by improving the coordination function between related agencies.
