Abstract

Abstract: The core issue examined in this study is the work discipline of the Ensaid Panjang village officials; consequently, the objective is to identify, describe, and analyze this discipline. The study employs a qualitative descriptive research method, with subjects selected based on their understanding of the issue. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and document analysis, utilizing qualitative data analysis methods. The findings indicate that work discipline among Ensaid Panjang village officials is functioning well—particularly regarding the forms of discipline, work productivity, and human resources. Although strict disciplinary enforcement measures have not been implemented, supervisors routinely issue reprimands to subordinates to foster improved discipline. The work productivity demonstrated by the officials is excellent; assessments are based solely on work results and individual discipline levels, rather than on a supervisor's personal likes or dislikes. The existing human resources are capable of generating high work productivity, resulting in generally positive overall village performance.
